Detectives in Hertsmere are appealing for witnesses and information following two burglaries at a warehouse in Potters Bar. The first burglary occurred at around 1am on Monday 23 March at the Summit Centre in Potters Bar. Entry was gained to the building and two Yamaha motorcycles were removed. Then between 10pm and midnight on Sunday 29 March, offenders broke into the building again and stole two further Yamaha motorcycles. Investigating officer Detective Constable Simon Day said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious during these times. We think the offenders may have been using power tools so there could have been noise coming from the building. “We also think the offenders must have ridden the bikes out of the building. If you think you may have seen them or you have a security camera operating in the vicinity and we have not yet spoken to you, please get in touch. “We have increased our police presence in the area and given crime prevention advice to businesses in the location.” You can report information directly to DC Day via email – Simon.Day@herts.police.uk You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 41/17133/26. | ||
